You don't have to be James Patterson or Emeril either - just as long as you are doing something creative and want to talk about it. I'm widely followed on social media and, as I said, my blog has a big following, so your message will get out to several hundred people (download numbers vary from week to week), and I will provide you with a link to the podcast for you to share as well.

I produced my first podcast on May 14, 2013 (please remember it was created as a supplement to my six-year-old blog, which already had a good following). I've done 19 episodes since then, and the number of downloads has grown with each episode. Right now, I'm averaging 75 downloads per episode. Some have 30 downloads, others have topped more than 300. It depends, honestly, on how interesting my subject matter and/or guests are. | |
