Welcome to Middle Aged Knowledge Drop! A podcast for anyone who is interested in the more interesting aspects of life, or at least those I find interesting, such as; Wine, how to Power Up the Corporate Ladder, Raising great Kids, History, Travel, Music, Kettelbells, Table Tennis, Bass Guitar, Golf, Artisan Cheeses, Art of Sabrage, Ukelele, international travel, Science, Firearms, Racquetball, GOT, Religion, Gaming, Charcuterie, Movies, Arm Wrestling, etc…..

I have been listening to a lot of podcasts lately and I find the ones I enjoy the most are just interesting people having discussions, like The Joe Rogan Experience or WTF with Marc Maron. Along those lines, I decided to do a podcast since my friends, family and colleagues have fascinating and humorous conversations that I think other folks would find useful and interesting. This could also be a remembrance that my children and later generations enjoy – what better way to understand ‘What was grandpa like?! Additionally, I am thinking about what advice would I give my 20 year old self if I solved time/space continuum dilemma.

What qualifies me to converse on so many subjects? My friends often tell me that I am a man of many experiences, an old soul. I have traveled extensively, read broadly and played in a bunch of rock and funk bands. Overall, I have been very fortunate to live life to the fullest!

First off, I am not telling you who I actually am and my intent is that I remain anonymous. This Podcast is my escape and a way I can speak my mind without concern over certain censors who would hear this. I think that I have the most interesting things to say, when I am myself. So fake names and places will be used, but I promise, the events will all be true.

I am going to go by my college nickname of the ‘Tman’ and most of my closer friends will use their nicknames as well…..and we have some funny ones.

I will tell you a few details though– I am a leader in a Fortune 50 company. I have gone as far in school as possible in a hard science. In my youth, I was well on my way to become a professional musician – and almost met with notoriety. I have traveled to over 15 countries, lived in 5 different states and met thousands of people. I started with the most humble of beginnings, from a small town where few people escape to having a great job, awesome family and wonderful friends. I always consider myself lucky…..and blessed.
