#5740: KPFT 90.1 FM So What's Your Story is looking for a Top-notch Story Teller

Looking for story tellers, plain and simple.

This is not an interview program or discussion panel. We are looking for talented, communicative individuals who can deliver 3-4 good stories of 6-10 minutes each. We're very flexible on story subjects and feature both fiction and non-fiction stories--but will shy away from anything overly offensive. Plugging your book or CD is OK, but we won't be talking about it constantly.

Not looking for extensive biographical discussions about life philosophies, religion, spirituality, or motivation speeches. Stick to specific stories and if you tell them right, they should express your underlying message for you without further explanation. There will be some brief discussion between stories to elaborate on your subject matter, but these are mainly segues that generally last a minute or less.

Looking for someone who can preferably appear in person at a radio station in Houston, Texas. Remote interviews by Skype are possible, but "in person" appearances get prioritized.
