We are seeking successful business owners that have built their company with:
Bootstrapping or with a small round of angel investors or friends & family money, but did not receive venture capital money, and grew their business to the point of selling it.
Ideally the guest made sufficient profit from the sale or IPO of their business to reinvest into another business or other income producing assets. We will not talk about the specifics of how much profit they made with the sale or IPO. We will talk about their passion, their vision for their business vs the reality, and lessons learned along the way. Depending on what they have reinvested their gains into, we will talk about that as an example of compassionate capitalism.
