My show is based on a study of Steve Jobs and his use of the universal laws of Time, Space and Adaptation to change the world.
All of the books and TV shows speak of Steve Jobs as being an innovator. Those topics speak of his successes in the interest of duplicating his process which is an impossibility because talent is a conscious or unconscious recognition of a person's individually honed adaptations that have provided them with competitive advantages that position them uniquely well for the task they are working to accomplish.
In the study of the three concepts of TIme, Space and Adaptation, I take a very long view to the subject of not just innovation but rather of how Steve Jobs became the great creator because he was able to ask the questions of "why", "How" and "What If", while additionally having the strong ability to connect experiences together to create new innovations.
I also address the bigger question of what our own individual gifts/adaptations are and how we cannot follow someone's path of adaptation but how we can, if observant, identify our own unique experiences and therefore adaptations and developments which have taken place in our own lives to make us individually and uniquely qualified to recognize the competitive advantages we have honed throughout our own existence.
I take a very long view to this philosophy because while our own individual paths are unique, all of our paths have been directed through millions of years of evolution towards becoming homo sapien, to thousands of years of us becoming modern man to hundreds of years of our own bloodlines shaping our own individual makeups down to our great grand, grand and parents further development which has shaped us physically and environmentally to the experiences we have had and how we have used those physical, intellectual and emotional experiences to become who we are today with all of the gifts that we possess.
Steve Jobs had his unique experiences that he connected to be able to create great things that changed the world. We all have our own experiences. The goal should be to identify our making and how those experiences have honed us in such a way to be perfect at that we were placed on this earth to accomplish.
I know my competitive advantage. I believe that through the study of time, space and adaptation, it is possible for everyone to potentially discover their own making and our competitive advantages here on this earth.
I use the path of evolution to discuss both the winners and losers of evolution and how adaptation and or the failure of adaptation has caused species to either survive or go extinct and how as individuals we must learn to identify and adapt to align our own personal paths, skills, talents and even our physiological being to adjust in order to be able to survive and thrive here within our own lifetime. |
