I need someone to talk to me about advertising, both the good and the bad of it.
Ideally, I would need one person to talk in favor of it and another person, another week, to talk against it.
As I have written and co-written eleven books, plays and screenplays, I would also like to make a discreet plug for my books when I interview authors talking about their work.

| Show Description: * | |
I have a very eclectic show and my guests have spoken about politics, theater, sports, music, writing, film, etc. I do interviews mostly in English, but also entirely in French and Italian. The foreign ones are for my European listeners. I record four shows a month during a two-hour block on the third Wednesday of each month between 11 am and 1 pm EST. The Producer calls me on Skype and usually we speak with my guests via Skype but also by telephone. The sessions last 25 minutes and I send the guide-questions to each guest 1-2 weeks in advance. I usually record from my home computer, but I can really be anywhere that has Internet. My guests, however, only need to have a phone and preferably a headset and be in a quiet place. I am looking forward to doing sessions on the Media and advertising in the near future. Being a curmudgeon, I would really like to vent against advertising and I would like two guests at two different times, one radically in favor of advertising and one radically against. I am also interested in exploring flying cars, a whole series on French and Italian politics, waste management, the American restaurant service industry, the tattoo, piercing and body art business, to name just a few. Each guest will be heard live on Society Bytes Internet radio for one week at 11:30 am Monday and 5:30 pm EST Wednesday, as well as 3 late night appearances, 1-4 weeks after the initial recording on the third Wednesday of the month. After the 'live' week, the shows are kept in a list and can be played or preferably downloaded at any time. I also send the MP3 recording directly to the guest by e-mail as soon as the recording comes 'live.' I always put my interviews on my Facebook, Linked In, Google My Business and Twitter accounts. I encourage my guests and their listeners to do the same.

| We do not encourage this but if you charge for interviews, ask for co-promotions, request "donations", or have other expectations of your guests, what are they and what do guests get back? | |
I charge nothing and guests only have to send me their e-mail, a 4-5 line bio, a photo (preferably 400x400 pixels) and be available by phone or Skype for a half hour during the 11 am - 1 pm slot on the third Wednesday of the month for recording the show. (Guests will know if their show is at 11, 11:30, 12 noon or 12:30 pm a week before recording) and I send them both their guide-questions and their recording. All they have to do is talk about their subject. I expect the guest to be on time, hopefully have Skype and talk enthusiastically about the subject at hand. What I get in return is good guests that bring listeners to my show. These listeners often read my books!
