Greg got his start right out of high school as a restaurant manager for a fast-food chain. That's when he got his first actual look at franchising. Greg worked for a master franchisor of Taco Bell throughout the Sacramento, California area, helping the restaurants grow and become more profitable. Being in the corporate world, he found he was always on somebody else's terms. Greg wanted to be on his own terms.

When you have your own business, you’re doing everything on your terms and building it up for yourself. Everyone is trying to build a better life for themselves and their families. That's really what drove Greg into looking to do franchising and ultimately getting out of his corporate job and buying a franchise. Greg's motivation is to help others. His motivation has become taking you through the process of what he did to find a franchise that supported him in realizing his freedom, and helping you realize yours.

There are many different franchises out there that require different amounts of your time—passive, semi-passive and full time—and you'll have the freedom to decide what fits best for you. That's the whole idea behind franchising and owning your own business—you've got the freedom to decide what you want to do.

Greg has owned a telecommunications consulting franchise, partnered with another engineer while working in a dry cleaners with several drop off locations and owned rental property at the same time. Greg has first hand experience in running a business while working full time and running a business himself full time.

Most people Greg comes in contact with think only restaurants when they think franchising. They do not realize the number of different franchises in various industries that are available to them.
